FROM THE WEST AND NORRISTOWN AREA:
- take Route 476 (Blue Route) to Route 76 (Schuylkill Expressway)
East
- take Route 76 towards Philadelphia
- pass the Girard Avenue and Spring Garden Street exits
- take exit 38 for 676 East -- a two-lane exit to the left - stay
in the right lane of the exit
- exit (from the exit!) virtually immediately across a lane of
merging traffic for Ben Franklin Parkway/23rd Street
- turn right at bottom of ramp onto 23rd Street
- cross Arch and Market Streets, then turn left onto Chestnut
Street
- turn right onto 19th Street
- when 19th Street dead ends into the Square, turn right onto
Walnut Street; the church will be ahead of you and on the left
FROM THE SOUTH/I-95 NORTHBOUND:
- just past the Philadelphia International Airport, exit for Route
76 (Schuylkill Expressway) West
- follow signs for Route 76 over Platt Bridge
- at base of bridge, turn left for Route 76 West
- once merged into Route 76 West, go approximately two miles
- exit left for South Street just past University City exit)
- at end of exit ramp, turn right onto South Street
- turn left onto 18th Street
- cross over Lombard, Pine, and Spruce Streets to Rittenhouse
Square
- make a left onto Walnut Street -- the church will be ahead of
you and on the left.
FROM THE NORTH/I-95 SOUTHBOUND:
- exit. from 1-95 onto Route 676 West (you want 676 for Center
City, not Callowhill/Historic Area)
- take Route 676 West for approximately 1 mile
- exit for 15th Street/Broad Street
- at end of exit ramp, turn right onto 15th Street
- follow 15th Street past City Hall and the (giant) Clothespin,
crossing over Market and
Chestnut Streets
- turn right onto Walnut Street
- follow Walnut Street to Rittenhouse Square/19th Street -- the
church will be ahead of you and on the left
Street parking is very limited. Parking
garages and lots are located on Walnut Street between 18th and 19th
Streets, and the southeast corner of 20th Street and Walnut Streets
(just behind the church).
